1. Fire rating
According to national standards, wooden fire doors are classified into three levels: Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3. A Class 1 fire door can withstand temperatures of 800℃ for more than 60 minutes; a Class 2 fire door can withstand temperatures of 900℃ for more than 90 minutes; and a Class 3 fire door can withstand temperatures of 1000℃ for more than 120 minutes.

Wood is the main material for the door leaf and provides fire resistance, thermal insulation, and heat-insulating properties. Polyamide foam boasts characteristics such as non-flammability, excellent expansibility, and high thermal and fire-resistant performance. Additionally, various other fire-retardant materials—such as asbestos and rock wool—are incorporated into these doors. Metal door leaves are made from metallic materials like steel plates and aluminum sheets.
3. Installation
When installing wooden fire doors, the following points should be noted: The installation environment must be dry, and the assembly gap between the door frame and the door leaf must meet the design requirements. The horizontal and vertical alignment of the door leaf must comply with the design specifications. The bottom edge of the door leaf should fit tightly against the floor, and the wooden blocks installed along the corners of the door leaf should not be too thick; they should be evenly distributed.
4. Maintenance
Wooden fire doors should be kept clean on their door leaf surfaces, free from oil stains, dust, and any adhering substances. The paint on the door leaf should be gently wiped with diluted soapy water or a specialized cleaning agent; avoid using abrasives or organic solvents to prevent damage to the surface paint.
